Common Nail Tek Questions
Which formula is right for me?
Different problems require different solutions. If you can’t determine what to use, ask, we’ll help you.
How does Nail Tek work?
Nails consist of many layers. These layers can peel away leaving nails soft and weak.
Nail Teks protein formula seals these layers together, to reinforce and strengthen.
Should I wear colored polish along with Nail Tek?
Colored polish makes chips easier to spot for immediate repair. Color also adds stability to weak thin nails.
You get maximum benefit when using colored polish.
How does Nail Tek penetrate polish?
It doesn’t. It reseals on a daily basis so that the top coat takes the wear not the nail.
Can I use Xtra after removing artificial nails?
No, It’s too strong for a damaged nail. Try formula II first.
When my nails are strong should I switch from formula II to formula I?
Formula I maintains healthy, strong nails. The nail product you use to correct a condition is not necessarily
the product you will use after the condition is corrected. As your nails change so does your Nail Tek formula.
If Nail Tek peels.
Nail plate is not free of excess oils before applying treatments. Product is applied to thick. Nail plate is not use to the polish/removal
cycle yet. Your Nail Tek must be thinned with Extend when you are about 1/2 way through your bottle then periodically there after.
My products are thick.
All polish gets thick. Refresh with Extend when polish bottle is 1/2 empty. Add a few drops at a time until your formula reaches its original consistency. Combine old polish with new polish.
I’ve got bubbles on my nail.
Don’t shake product before use, roll the bottle back and forth between the palms of your hands. If you’re using Foundation, be sure it is a thin coat and thoroughly dry. Nails could be too warm when product is applied.
