Common Questions asked about Fake Bake Bronzer
Why is the product so brown?
The use of color pigment in Fake Bake prevents streaking because you can see the product as it is applied to the skin. Color gives you control of the product and results in a smooth and even tan without streaks or botches. The color is not a stain or dye; it is a naturally based organic color pigment that is temporary. The DHA is what actually tans your body; the color is for application purposes only.
Will it stain my clothing or sheets?
No – since organic color pigment is not a stain or dye, it will not permanently stain and will wash out of any synthetic material. Stay away from silk and 100% cotton.
How long does the color last?
Fake Bake needs to be applied on the average of only once or twice a week. Determine your own maintenance schedule. Deepen your tan by simply applying more of the product. The color comes off along with your dead surfaces cells through the process of normal exfoliation.
Does it wash off?
No – remember that the organic color is for application purposes only. The tan from this product comes from the unique Dihydroxy (DHA). DHA is not permanent, so it will fade just as any suntan does, which is why a weekly application is recommended for maintenance.

Your tan fades but does not wash off. For the very best results apply the product at night and rinse the next morning. Do not swim immediately after application. This would result in waste.
